Description

A delicious raspberry sauce perfect for desserts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Rinse raspberries gently under cool water and pat dry.
  2. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water until smooth; gradually add to bubbling raspberry mixture while stirring continuously.
  4. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened; remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
  5. Let cool before using.
