- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Rinse raspberries gently under cool water and pat dry.
- In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water until smooth; gradually add to bubbling raspberry mixture while stirring continuously.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened; remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
- Let cool before using.
