- 1 package (15 count) mini pastry shells
- 1 cup full-fat ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If making pastry shells from scratch, roll out dough and cut into circles for mini muffin tins.
- Arrange pre-made pastry shells on a baking sheet or place homemade shells in muffin tins and bake until golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and half of the chocolate chips. Mix until smooth.
- Allow pastry shells to cool completely before filling with the ricotta mixture.
- Top each filled shell with remaining chocolate chips and a light dusting of powdered sugar.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to two days.
Notes
- Make sure to use full-fat ricotta for the best texture.
- These can be made ahead of time—just fill them right before serving for optimal taste.
