Description

Delicious and flaky puff pastry filled with creamy goat cheese and fresh herbs, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 4 oz creamy goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary), finely chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut into squares approximately 4 inches wide.
  4. Place a small spoonful of goat cheese in the center of each square and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
  5. Fold each square diagonally to form triangles, sealing the edges well.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg wash for a golden finish.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
