Description
A delicious and easy deli turkey sandwich with layers of cheese, mayo, and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients

- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 2–4 slices Provolone cheese (or your favorite sliced cheese)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 ounces sliced or shaved deli turkey
- 1 leaf Green leaf lettuce
- 2 slices fresh tomatoes
- to taste salt and pepper
- as desired additional toppings (see options above)
Instructions
- Lay out all ingredients.
- Spread mayonnaise on bread slices and layer 1-2 slices of cheese over the mayo (you want to cover the whole slice of bread with cheese so you may need to do 2 slices and overlap).
- Add sliced turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, salt, and pepper, and any other additional toppings.
- Top sandwich with remaining cheese and bread slice, cut into halves, and serve.

Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite condiments or pickles.
- You can use any kind of fresh veggies for added crunch.
