Description

A delicious and easy crockpot dessert featuring apple pie filling, yellow cake mix, and caramel sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1 box (15 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the apple filling without mixing.
  4. Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the cake mix.
  5. Slice unsalted butter into small pats and place them on top.
  6. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over everything.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours until golden brown and bubbly.
